Weekend retreat anyone?

Whether it’s a girls getaway or a romantic weekend, the pool villas at Al Areen are the perfect spot to escape reality and relax.

$$$$

As you would expect this is one of the pricier options for Bahrain. While booking online is usually the prefered method my friends and I have had a lot of luck with coordinating directly with staff over the phone; free breakfast, early check in, late checkout, villa upgrades and discounted rates have all been given with no status program. Additionally, the villas are HUGE (bedroom, living room, shisha lounge, & sometimes kitchen) and they will provide adult size cot beds, so you could easily bring costs down by sharing with more friends.

Because of Covid the breakfast buffet is closed and the entire breakfast spread is brought to your villa.

In case there was any doubt…the act of doing yoga for pictures can make you just as sweaty and exhausted as doing a full on yoga class! Peep Erin being a fitness savage right below.

Finding lush greenery can be a challenging task during the Summer, and even more so with Covid restrictions. We found some lawn to play frisbee on, near the coy ponds behind Keizo.

Al Areen is a Dry resort, meaning the don’t sell alcohol. Bring your own wine or liquor to level up a fancy mocktail; They were able to provide a wine bottle opener when we forgot.
